The Sub-Biosphere is the place for those who intend to spend the rest of their life in a place where they never thought they would end up. This stunning structure is a self sustained underwater facility made for oceanographic life scientists, tourists and aquanauts. Apart from it, the facility is also designed to house long-term human, animals and plant co-habitation, making this small underwater world harmonic. Phil Pauley, the designer, included all necessary components necessary to survive in the Sub-Biosphere 2. The unique Sub-Biosphere sustains all its life support systems for food, drinkable water, fresh air, always needed electricity and other resources through its new control of variant atmospheric pressure which occurs at depth.

This unique structure is a seed bank with eight living biomes to allow plant, human and fresh water interaction, powered and controlled by the central support biome which monitors the life systems from within its own operations ease. The docks for the ships of living biomes arrive and bring the people who will live there. The structure is fitted on a lift system that creates a controlled sinking for the Sub-Biosphere to sustain life itself. Besides this lift system allows the structure to come back to the surface. The eight living biomes are connected through tubes leading to the center biome. This is an alternative and futuristic habitat that many people would consider moving into.
